COVID-19 update from the
West Didsbury Astronomical Society
Following the cancellation of the 20 April meeting we now hope to be able to test-run a virtual chat for members who have access to computers, smart phones and tablets. This will initially take the form of a brief ‘What’s On’ presentation at 7pm on 20 April. More information will be sent out to members shortly. Online meetings will also be announced in the ‘Upcoming Meetings & Events’ panel opposite – as soon as we have more information.
West Didsbury Astronomical Society was formed to bring people together who have an interest in Astronomy. If you are interested in astronomy and you’re in the Manchester (UK) area come and meet other local astronomers.
Everyone is welcome from the complete beginner to the more experienced astronomer. There are regular meetings during the year and ad hoc observing sessions. Meetings are usually held on the second Monday of every month (except in August) – at: Cavendish Road Primary School, Cavendish Road, West Didsbury, Manchester. M20 1JG
